Amsterdam canal with gabled houses and bicycles on the bridge poster

Amsterdam poster, canal, gabled houses and bicycles

An Amsterdam canal stretches between narrow Dutch gabled houses, set snugly side by side. On the bridge, bicycles are lined up, and a little rowboat floats on the water. In the background, a church tower rises above the rooftops. This Amsterdam poster pairs the warm brick of the facades with the sea-green water of the canal under a blue sky, for a calm, almost silent scene. The title “AMSTERDAM” accompanies this view, which distills the city’s water, bicycles and architecture into a single image.

Amsterdam for an entryway, an office or a traveler

In portrait format, it brightens an entryway, a hallway, an office or a living room, and its warm bricks bring life to a gray or white wall. It pairs well with dark wood, black metal, green plants and blue textiles. With other posters of European capitals, it easily makes up a travel wall. It is a gift for anyone who loves the Netherlands, an everyday cyclist, or friends back from a weekend in Amsterdam.
