about this poster

Lemon tree botanical plate poster, “BOTANICAL LEMON”

This illustration shows a lemon tree, Citrus limon, laden with yellow lemons and white blossoms, in front of a bay bordered by hills and cypress trees. At the foot of the trunk, a cut lemon and its seeds rest on a light-colored low wall. Soft yellows, the greens of the foliage and the blues of the sky and sea compose a calming harmony. The title “BOTANICAL LEMON” is printed in capital letters beneath the image, on a cream margin.

A naturalist plate for the kitchen or dining room

It hangs well in a kitchen, a dining room, an entryway or an office, and its cream tones blend into a white, beige or sage green wall. It pairs well with natural wood, earthenware, linen and potted plants. It can be part of a series of botanical plates of fruits or citrus. It’s a gift for a botany enthusiast, a cook, a gardener or friends who are setting up a kitchen with a natural style.
