Naturalist forest mushroom plate poster

Forest mushroom poster, “FOREST FORAGE” botanical plate

On a mossy forest floor, among fallen leaves and ferns, several species of woodland mushrooms grow. This poster captures the spirit of a naturalist plate: you can pick out stout porcini, chanterelles, a fly agaric with its red cap and white spots, and slender parasol mushrooms. Each mushroom is drawn in its natural setting, as if spotted on a woodland walk. Browns, ochres and moss greens dominate, brightened by the vivid red of the fly agaric. The title “FOREST FORAGE” accompanies this vertical composition.

An autumn forest floor for the kitchen or entryway

Its forest tones suit a kitchen, an entryway, a home office or a living room. The vertical format hangs nicely beside a door, a hutch or along a hallway. It pairs well with raw wood, wicker, wool, and rust and moss green shades. Alongside other naturalist plates or autumn posters, it makes a seasonal wall. It makes a great gift for a lover of forest walks, a seasoned forager, a nature enthusiast or loved ones who live in the countryside.
