about this poster

4-engine airliner over the Atlantic poster

A 4-engine propeller airliner flies over the Atlantic Ocean. Far below, the waves roll and an ocean liner holds its course, while on the horizon tall clouds rise into the sky. On this airplane poster, the title “ATLANTIQUE” evokes the great crossings, in the spirit of mid-20th-century airline posters. Ocean blues and luminous whites dominate the vertical composition, where the aircraft seems to glide above the water.

A flight across the ocean for the office or the hallway

Its portrait format hangs well in an office, a hallway, a living room or a traveler’s bedroom. Its blues and whites pair with wood, leather, brushed metal and framed antique maps. It can join other aviation or ocean liner posters for a wall devoted to travel. It is a gift idea for a pilot, an aviation enthusiast, a collector of travel memorabilia or a future globetrotter preparing a crossing to America.
