about this poster

Humorous pin-up poster ironing a shirt

Iron in hand, a pin-up presses a shirt on a tall ironing board in a cheerful home. A laundry basket waits at her feet, and a patterned wallpaper dresses the wall behind her. This ironing pin-up poster plays the humor card, with bright, spruce colors that turn a chore into a joyful scene. The vertical composition follows the silhouette down to the laundry. The title “PRESSED TO IMPRESS”, an English pun on pressing (ironing) to impress, accompanies the image.

A wink for the laundry room or kitchen

It naturally belongs in a laundry room, pantry, kitchen or dressing room, where it will bring a smile at ironing time. Its bright colors stand out on a white wall and pair well with painted wood, wicker baskets and household linens. It sits nicely alongside other humorous pin-up posters. A great gift for a friend who hates ironing, a couple who just moved in, a seamstress, or a lighthearted housewarming.
