Straight razor and shaving brush in lather bowl poster

Shaving brush and straight razor poster, “SMOOTH OPERATOR”

On a cream shelf, a shaving brush with a navy handle stands in a bowl of foaming shaving soap, with a straight razor resting right beside it. On the right, a red and white striped barber pole recalls traditional shaving parlors. This shaving poster is a still life that plays on textures: the lightness of the foam, the shine of the metal, the softness of the ceramic. The landscape format lines up the objects as on a bathroom shelf. The title “SMOOTH OPERATOR” adds a touch of humor.

A shaving ritual for the bathroom

Horizontal in format, it sits above a vanity unit, shelf or counter, in a bathroom, dressing room or barber shop. Its turquoise sky and touches of navy, red and gold pair well with matte black, brass, dark wood and white tile. Keep it away from water splashes. It can form a series with other barber posters. It makes a gift for a man devoted to the straight razor, a barber, a dad on Father’s Day or a friend who cares about his style.
