Tennis player hitting a backhand on red clay poster

Backhand on clay poster, “Sweeping Backhand”

Dressed all in white, a player hits a backhand on a red clay court, eyes focused, the yellow ball leaving his strings. Beyond the net, an ochre clubhouse and its bell tower stand out against a cobalt sky, while 2 spectators follow the rally. This tennis poster captures the stroke in full sunlight, in a palette of brick red, ochre and deep blue. The title “Sweeping Backhand”, a wide, flowing backhand, describes the shot with precision.

A clay court poster for the living room or for a player

Its brick reds and deep blue give character to a living room, an office, an entryway or a clubhouse. It pairs well with terracotta, wood, leather and white walls. Combined with other tennis posters, it makes a colorful sporting wall. Give it to a tennis player, a fan of clay court tournaments or a friend whose backhand is the envy of the club, for a birthday or a win at the club.
